While the year is running so fast we feel an excitement in our hearts for 2010 and believe that growth and an abundance of new things will happen in Thailand 2010.

Projects for 2010 are:

-Prayer groups visiting Koh Phangan

- New Sunday school at Victory Church

- Praise and Worship in June 2010

- New Bible study group

- Growth of the international Bible study

- English lessons during School holidays for Thai children

- Bible for Thai Christians

- Caregroup for old Thai People

and all the other projects running.

Please pray for these projects on Koh Phangan and thank you for you support and paryers.

Kho Lanta Island

We visited Kho Lanta Island and have found a caregroup meeting on the pavement in front of a shop on the grass. It was wonderful to meet these young Christians and have the chance to encourage them.

Kerkkampe 2009

Ons het pas 2 kampe bygewoon en ongelooflik baie geleer van hierdie mense. Die lesings was van hoogstaande gehalte en die lofprysing was ongelooflike belewenis.

Dit is egter belewenis on te reis na hierdie kampe 23 mense in 'n minibus met bagasie, niks word op die dak gelaai nie alles binne in.

Victory het op die laaste oomblik die kamp geskuif en hul pastoor het ons 70km aangery na die kamp en weer terug geneem na die plek waar ons woon. Ongelooflik niks te veel moeite vir hulle nie.

Hul leef werklik hul naaste liefde uit ond het ook 2km gewoon van die ander kamp en elke keer het mense ons opgelaai en vir ons gewag as ons in die aand klaar was. Sulke naaste liefde het ons almal aan die hart geruk.

Hope 5th Birthday

We celebrate Hope Church 5th Birthday and we are glad for the lovely day. We have also had the privelige of Baptise 8 people and thank the Lord for this final step these people take.

We open the Baantai church on Sunday evening and yes it is really glad that this finally happened. In the area are a lot of old people who can not drive and will attend this church. Pastor Pantip of Surathanee came to open the new church.

We pray that God will bless the new Christians and the new Bantai church.

August 2009 News

Just a few pictures of what happened on the island in August. Leon and Ellenette arrive on their prayerwalk and we visit the Christians at their barn (house) and pray for them.

We experience growth in both churches on the island and is very thankfull to the Lord and we praise Him. We had a prayer evening at Victory and after midnight there was still 45 people. We pray up until the next morning.

Hope will start a new church in October in Bantaai, please pray that the Lord will show us the way. When a church is 40 people they start a new church.

Both the caregroup of Hope in Bantaai and prayergroup of Victory are close to 20 people now.

Goeie nuus aan Thai's

Ons is baie opgewonde oor die Bybels wat ons kon koop met donasies uit Suid Afrika. Ons aanvaar Bybels sommer as iets wat in ons huise rond le, en ja daar is gewoonlik meer Bybels as mense in ons huise.

Meeste Christine het net Nuwe Testament en baie opgewonde dat hulle nou hul opgeleesde Bybel vir ieand anders kan gee, ek kry so skaam

Ons kon ook audio Bybels kry vir die ouer mense wat nie kan lees nie en hulle is baie opgewonde en luister graag.

Meeste Ma's kom vertel dat hul sommer die kinderbybel van hoek tot kant gelees het. Ja, dit is baba Christine hierdie en ons saam met hul opgewonde.

Baie Dankie dat u dit moontlik gemaak het, dat ons Bybel vir die Thai's kon koop. Dit word regtig wardeer en gelees.

Doop Victory

Die doop van 2 Christine was hoogtepunt in Victory Kerk, baie dankie aan u almal wat al eer as een jaar saam met ons gebid het vir Bee en Suntiya.

Alle eer aan ons Hemelse Vader, aan Hom al die eer log en heerlikheid... Ons bid ook vir hierdie 2 vroue se mans Chomchaai en Pot. Ons vertrou dat hul ook binnekort hierdie groot stap in geloof gaan neem
